Looking for a way to beat the heat this weekend? Come on down to the 1300 block of the historic Pearl St. Mall in Boulder for a little island flavor!
Escape to the islands! This weekend Boulder hosts the annual Colorado Asian Aloha Festival. This is a fabulous family-friendly event that offers an opportunity for everyone to experience the music, food, art and diverse cultures of Asia, Hawaii and the Pacific Islands.
The FREE 2-day festival showcases Hawaiian art and food, there will be vendor booths, Hawaiian music, hula performances and activities for children. There will also be workshops and language lessons so everyone can learn more about these unique cultures.
The festival takes place on the 1300 block of the Pearl St. Mall this Saturday and Sunday, August 11th and 12th from 11am – 6pm. Take a break from the heat and immerse yourself in the islands for a while!
